Cannabis sativa
Cannabis sativa (hemp) is the most widespread type of cannabis in the world. It is a heat-loving annual plant that is not demanding on nutrients.
Cannabis has significant medicinal effects and a wide range of uses, which are, however, legally restricted. It naturally contains cannabinoids, psychoactive substances, among which we can find, for example, THC. It is known for its ability to relieve pain. It also contains CBD, cannabidiol, which is not psychoactive and is very effective for skin diseases. Cannabis contains vitamin E, magnesium, zinc, calcium, potassium, sulfur, unsaturated fatty acids and beneficial enzymes.
Hemp is mainly used for its seeds, from which edible hemp oil is pressed. A third of its content is unsaturated fatty acids, which makes it an important and very valuable oil for the human body. Hemp oil supports the proper functioning of the entire organism and maintains its balance. It helps restore tissue and reduce swelling. It is anti-inflammatory and suitable for all skin types. It does not clog the pores, fights against acne and acts as a prevention of the pore re-formation. It is also effective for treating eczema and psoriasis. It regenerates, soothes, softens, lubricates and protects the skin from the effects of the surrounding environment, thereby also acting as a prevention against premature aging.
