Cape chamomile

The brilliant blue essential oil is steam distilled from the small buds and white flowers. Cape chamomile is a plant distantly related to yarrow or German chamomile.

Cape chamomile essential oil is extremely nourishing for the skin and is suitable for treating red, dry and irritated skin suffering from conditions such as eczema, rashes, insect bites and burns.

It is used in aromatherapy for its anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antidepressant and antiseptic properties.
