Damask rose
Damask rose is one of the most valuable plants in the world. It was once used as a currency. Damask rose originally comes from Persia, but today it is grown mainly in Bulgaria, Iran, Turkey and Morocco. In cosmetics, we encounter essential oil, which is obtained by distillation.
It has a pleasant feminine floral scent, which is the most distinctive compared to other roses. It is for this reason why it is amongst the most popular essences, for example, in perfumes.
Damask rose softens the skin, smooths fine wrinkles, tightens, strengthens, significantly regenerates and soothes. It also exhibits anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial, disinfectant and antioxidant properties, relieves muscle spasms. Thanks to these effects, Damask rose is suitable for all skin types, especially for dry, mature, sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions.
