Eyebright

Eyebright contains vitamins A and C, iridoid glycosides, tannins, ligands, essential oils, flavonoids and phenolic acids. It is widely used in folk medicine and homeopathy, especially in the treatment of eye diseases. It is suitable as a poultice for the eyelids in case of fatigue.

In cosmetics, its extract is used for its ability to reduce redness and soothe irritation. It is used to treat skin suffering from purulent wounds. It has antimicrobial effects and slightly tightens pores. It generally tones, softens and slightly smoothes the skin.
