Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan - a high molecular weight polysaccharide. It forms one of the main components of the intercellular mass and is part of connective, epithelial and nervous tissues. The biological functions of hyaluronic acid include its binding of water to itself, preventing the passage of viruses and bacteria through the per-cellular matrix to the cell, and preventing the deposition of collagen, thereby promoting scar-free tissue healing.

Our own skin cells tend to produce hyaluronic acid, but due to time, aging of the skin, the influence of the environment and other factors affecting the skin, these abilities weaken and lose their effectiveness.

Its very effective moisturizing ability will help to smooth out small wrinkles, thanks to which premature aging will be prevented.

Did you know that...

Hyaluronic acid binds up to 1000 times its own weight in water and thus acts as a reservoir of hydration that flexes, softens and brightens the skin.
