Lavender
Medicinal shrub-like plant from the family of gorse, which is known for its colorful purple color and strong aromatic smell. It originates from the western Mediterranean, from where it has spread throughout the Mediterranean and beyond thanks to the development of cultures.
Dried flowers are found in herbal recipes to treat acne and eczema. Lavender oil is much gentler to use than many other essential oils, making it safe to apply directly on the body. It is antiseptic, antispasmodic, aromatic, diuretic, stimulating (can also be a sedative) and tonic. It also has a calming effect on the nervous system. It is useful in the treatment of burns, scalds, bites and other problems. It is suitable for massages to loosen and relax muscles or for rheumatic problems. Substances contained in lavender protect the skin from excessive reproduction of harmful microorganisms.
