Lemon balm
Lemon balm is one of the most used local herbs. It contains a large number of essential oils (Geranial, Neral, Citronellol Limonene, Linallol Limonene, Menthol), tannins, ursolic acid and, to a lesser extent, bitters, mucilage, flavonoids and minerals.
This mild antioxidant helps reduce skin redness, soothe inflammation and restore skin balance. The essential oil of lemon balm leaves gives the skin a refreshing feeling.
Lemon balm is also added to shampoos for quickly greasy hair and irritated and itchy scalp. Lemon balm leaves the hair pleasantly smelling and it ensures a long-lasting feeling of freshly washed hair.
