Rosemary
Rosemary contains essential oils, flavonoids, diterpene bitters, ursolic, oleanic, caffeic, chlorgenic and rosemary acids and tannins. It is rich in vitamin C and vitamin B. It offers a dose of iron, zinc, magnesium and phosphorus. Rosemary is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. It has cleansing abilities and promotes detoxification. Rosemary acid treats inflammation and irritation, therefore rosemary is suitable for oily skin and acne treatment. It soothes and softens the skin.
Rosemary stimulates hair roots, gives hair shine, volume and highlights its color. Tannins regulate the activity of sebaceous glands, rosmarinic acid improves blood circulation in the skin and caffeine has stimulating effects on hair growth.
In cosmetics, we often encounter essential oil, which is an allergen and can irritate the skin. We therefore recommend using it in very moderate amounts.
Did you know that…
