Sea-buckthorn extract

Sea buckthorn extract is obtained from sea buckthorn fruits using CO2. The power of sea buckthorn berries has been known for centuries. In the regions of today's Russia, it was previously called the "Siberian miracle". Sea buckthorn extract has a high content of phytosterols, carotenoids, alkanols and tocopherols. It also contains both saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A, B, C, E and K, amino acids, sugars, tannins and essential oils.

The active substances contained in sea buckthorn fruits work against premature aging of the skin and improve the elasticity of the skin. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, which makes it suitable for acne-prone skin and helps regulate sebum production. Sea buckthorn extract is a popular treatment for eczema, acne, frostbite or welts. It is also an excellent aid for promoting the healing of damaged skin (including the treatment of scars), relieves irritated skin after sunbathing and protects hair against the effects of free radicals, which can lead to hair damage.
