Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil is obtained by extracting the leaves of the alternate-leaved cajeput (also known as the tea tree), which grows mainly in Australia. It has significant revitalizing, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. It stimulates the renewal of skin cells and prevents the development of infection. Tea tree oil removes age spots and reduces swelling, regulates excess sebum and reduces skin redness. It is a suitable aid in the fight against fungi or problematic skin, rashes and acne.
Tea tree oil revitalizes the scalp, relieves itching and helps in the treatment of seborrhea and psoriasis. When used externally, it rarely causes an allergic reaction.
Did you know that…
The Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) has nothing to do with tea. According to its T shape, it got the name T-tree, which was later corrupted to tea tree.
